Pumpkin Patch Battle Map
Winding farm lanes cross orderly pumpkin rows. A tool shed, scarecrows, low boundaries and four clear approaches make this a useful outdoor encounter area.

Original player map: 30 × 20 squares, 70 pixels per square, 2100 × 1400 pixels. Assume one square equals 5 feet or 1.5 meters. No GM clues are printed on the player files.
For a VTT, set the scene grid to 30 × 20 and 70 pixels per square. For print, keep the source at full resolution and print at your chosen physical square size; a large map may need tiled pages.
Run this encounter
The party follows amber seeds into the field. A startled flock scatters when the old orchard spirit appears. The spirit only wants the village to remember its annual offering. Characters can calm it by sharing food, restoring the neglected path, or listening to its story.
- Pumpkin rows can provide light cover and cost an extra square of movement if the group wants a tactical rule.
- The shed is five by five squares and can hold a clue, lanterns, or a place to shelter.
- Three scarecrows mark the places where the seed trail changes direction; this is an observation puzzle, not a hidden combat trigger.
GM-only clue and placement
The trail runs from the west path to the northern scarecrow, then the eastern scarecrow, then the shed. The shed contains a small wooden token carved with the orchard emblem.
