Map processing

Map generation, map editing, theme selection, text-to-settings interpretation, and image exports run in your browser. The text you type into the description field is interpreted locally; this release does not send it to an AI service. A share link places your seed and selected settings in its URL. Anyone you give that link to can read those settings and reconstruct the generated layout.

Information saved on your device

The site uses browser localStorage to remember generator settings, selected visual style, and a short list of recent map seeds and basic settings. This information stays in your browser unless you choose to share a URL or export a file. Clearing site data in your browser removes it. Private browsing modes and browser settings may prevent this storage or delete it when a session ends; the generator should still work.

Server and hosting records

When you visit a website, the hosting server may process technical request information such as IP address, time, requested page, browser user agent, and error details to deliver pages and protect service operation. Cloudways or its infrastructure providers may keep server logs under their own operational settings. We do not use these logs to construct personal map profiles.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This release does not load an analytics provider, advertising network, or third-party tracking script. The site does not need a login cookie for the map generator. If analytics or advertising is added later, this policy must be updated before activation to identify the service, its data practices, and any consent controls that apply. A future possibility is not a statement that tracking is active now.

Contact by email

If you email us, your email service and ours will process your address, message, and any details you include so we can respond. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. Email retention depends on the mailbox provider and our operational needs. You may ask us to delete a message we control by writing to the address above; some records may need to remain for legitimate security or legal reasons.

Data sharing and international handling

We do not sell map settings or description text. Technical requests necessarily pass through the hosting infrastructure that serves this website. If you use a share link, exported file, or email, the recipient and the services you choose may process that information according to their own policies. Hosting and email providers may operate in different countries; specific provider locations should be reviewed in the live deployment settings.

Your choices

You can clear localStorage through your browser's site-data controls, avoid sharing URLs, and use the generator without an account. You can contact us to ask about information you have sent by email. Privacy rights vary by location; we will review applicable requests rather than promise a process the site cannot technically perform.

Children and changes

The tool is a general tabletop map utility and is not designed to collect information from children. If we materially change data practices, we will revise this page and its update date. Review it before using newly added services.
